Privacy Policy

The short version

Retune does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your music is processed entirely on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. We don't know who you are and we like it that way.

Information we collect

None. Retune does not collect any personal information. We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of registration to use the app. The app functions entirely on your device with no network communication.

Audio processing

All audio processing — including 432 Hz pitch shifting, equalization, and playback — happens locally on your device using Apple's AVAudioEngine framework. Your music files are never uploaded to any server, copied to external storage, or shared with any third party. The audio data stays on your iPhone at all times.

File access

Retune accesses only the audio files you explicitly import into the app or grant access to through the iOS media library. The app does not access your photo library, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other device data. File access is limited to what you explicitly provide.

Data storage

Retune stores your library metadata (song titles, artists, playlists, EQ settings) locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not synced to any cloud service and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.

Third-party services

Retune does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only external services involved are:

• Apple App Store — for purchase processing and app distribution, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchase verification, which is handled entirely by Apple on-device.

Children's privacy

Retune does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there are no special provisions needed for children's privacy.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with a new effective date. Given that we collect no data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
